Birthing Ourselves into Being is a year-long immersion into your own creative power, supported by the archetypes of birth. We move together through a journey of conception, pregnancy, labor, delivery, aging, and death. As our work is anchored in the Sacred Feminine, we use the language of the feminine almost exclusively. For example, you will see every love letter open with “Beloved Woman” and you will read over + over again the pronouns Her + She. BOiB is indeed a women’s circle, as it will always be. The Riverbed Track is a track specialized for you, Dear Man. The men who join us are men joining a women’s circle. A specialized men’s track within the Circuitry of BOiB is quite a different animal than joining a men’s circle. Our prayer is that you feel welcome always + read yourself into this feminine language, just as we women have read ourselves into history + literature + most every other discipline, for hundreds of years now. Our prayer is that our authentic welcome matches your commitment to an inner practice of welcoming yourself into both our sacred community, and into Our Lady’s loving arms. We deeply honor how men like you have acted as gatekeepers + guardians + fire-tenders for our women’s circles for centuries, keeping us safe and helping us carry this ancient cultural gift into the current age. Now we want you to come sit beside us in our circle.
In order to help you get a sense of the voice of the curriculum, we would love to share the following excerpt from CH 2, titled
Alongside our co-facilitator, Rev. David Hale, we are actively expanding the circumference of our circle to include our beloved menfolk who are likewise called to evolve in harmony with the gifts + teachings of the Sacred Feminine. There is no need to wait for integration + inclusion. We are united by our common purpose within the Circuitry of Soul now. We look forward to reading your application. We will respond to you promptly.
We are with you,
With this in mind, Beloved Brother, do you feel ready + willing to participate in this process?
Understanding that you may feel discomfort + the pain of healing, are you committed to sharing this journey with us?
